Yoga classes are taking a break for the winter and will restart in the early Spring, 2026.
Every Monday morning in St George’s Church, the pews are pushed back and yoga mats rolled out. Gigi Taylor leads a mixed group of men and women through a series of yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation.
Gigi, originally from Scotland, has been practicing yoga for around 25 years and qualified to teach in 2017. She teaches gentle hatha yoga and believes that everyone can enjoy the many benefits of yoga, whatever your fitness level and flexibility. She provides modifications and alternatives, yoga blocks, bricks, and straps to help everyone move through a range of postures at their own pace.
The group is taught in English but is open to anyone. Drop ins are welcome. Come along to meet some friendly locals, enjoy a good stretch, and unwind.
